We can consider becoming an astronaut as a quite impossible dream.

Only a few man and woman have succeeded and can be considered as super human for their capabilities.

One of the most esteemed astronauts in the world is an Italian, the legendary: Luca Parmitano, Commander of the International Space Station.

During my incredible NASA tour, I had the immense pleasure of meeting him and interviewing him within an ISS space module.

We talked about his training, his fears, the next missions in space and of course … what happiness is for Luca.

What do astronauts eat?

Do they train in space?

How do you live inside the International Space Station?

Also in this episode, I filled my poor friend Ken with questions and he took me to visit NASA’s “Space Vehicle Mockup Facility”.

Here are kept all the replicas of the modules of the International Space Station, or also called: ISS. A huge laboratory in which the astronauts of the major nations of the world collaborate for the progress of man in space and on earth.

Astronauts and cosmonauts (in the video you will understand the difference) train inside these reconstructions to be ready for anything during missions in space.

Thanks to “Uncle Ken” I also learned how NASA is planning to return to the Moon and Mars and how robot-astronauts work: “robonauts”.

At the end of the day though … he came, the StarMan: Luca Parmitano!

It has always been my dream to visit the center of NASA in Houston since I was a child, but I never imagined I would enter it like this!

This is one of those stories that I will tell like a broken record to my children, my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren.

This is the story of Shanaka Fernando, a true dreamer who 30 years ago, from Sri Lanka, arrived in Australia to upset the rules of catering.

In its “Lentils as Anything” restaurants, anyone is welcome and everyone can choose how much to pay according to their economic possibilities.

HAPPINESS IN NORTH KOREA: What does it mean to be happy for a North Korean?

It is a question I asked myself hundreds of times before deciding to enter North Korea and try to ask him directly.

This is the last episode of my unforgettable adventure in the most isolated country in the world and although it was not easy at all, I managed to ask my fateful question to the only Korean nods with whom I was allowed to speak: my two fantastic “guirdie”.

Although culturally very different, and with some misunderstanding due to my insatiable curiosity, I can say that I met two wonderful girls in North Korea.

Two friends that I will probably never see and never hear again for the rest of my life.

For now, their sweet answers remain one of the most pleasant memories of my trip.

“HOLIDAYS IN NORTH KOREA” could be a great title for an Italian Christmas movie, but since it will never happen, I will use it for the new episode on my trip to North Korea!

For a tourist on vacation in North Korea, it is unusual not to have visited anything after 3 days in the most secret country in the world, but unfortunately, due to the accident that I explained to you in the second episode, I did not have the opportunity to explore .

The road was frozen but we went quickly towards our first stop.
