HAPPINESS IN NORTH KOREA: What does it mean to be happy for a North Korean?
It is a question I asked myself hundreds of times before deciding to enter North Korea and try to ask him directly.
This is the last episode of my unforgettable adventure in the most isolated country in the world and although it was not easy at all, I managed to ask my fateful question to the only Korean nods with whom I was allowed to speak: my two fantastic “guirdie”.
Although culturally very different, and with some misunderstanding due to my insatiable curiosity, I can say that I met two wonderful girls in North Korea.
Two friends that I will probably never see and never hear again for the rest of my life.
For now, their sweet answers remain one of the most pleasant memories of my trip.
