Have you ever heard about Couchsurfing?  Do you know what Couchsurfing means?

Couchsurfing: is an online community where you can ask or offer others a room or sofa in your home for a short stay to help travelers, have a cultural exchange or simply for generosity.

This fantastic platform is helping me to travel in this long adventure of mine and it also helps me to get in touch with very stimulating people who teach me so much every time.

In Shanghai I was extremely lucky to find Josue Alcantara, a senior member of Couchsurfing who hosted more than 200 travelers in his apartments, on my way and I took the opportunity to share his long experience with all of you.

We talked about the great experiences you could have as a couchsurfer, but we also discussed the risk you could take if you meet the wrong person.

]]> This is the incredible story of a fisherman who has become a professional footballer in the best Indian football team.

His name is Ali Mohammed and I spent a day with him to understand how football changed his life and that of his family.

Today he is the defender of FC Goa, the best team in the Indian League and his next dream is to be called up to the Indian national team.

But his life has not always been like this: only a few years ago he lived in a hut without electricity or water. He needed to fish to feed his family: “this was my biggest motivation to become a professional footballer”.

We talked about his difficult past and his magical present and future and in the end, as always in my episodes, he answered my “HAPPINESS QUIZ”.

Manual scavengers are part of the lowest caste of the Indian social system: the untouchables, those who do the most humble jobs and are treated like stray animals.

Their job? Clean the sewers by hand, sometimes immersing themselves completely in them.

With Dilavar, who today manages a team of manual scavengers, I also talked about happiness: I’m traveling around the world to understand how people can be happy in different ways.
